On Thursday the 21st of July 2022, our colleague George Amponis from K3Y, presented the paper “Swarm Mobility Models and Impact of Link State Awareness in Ad Hoc Routing“ at the 13th IEEE/IET International Symposium on Communications Systems, Networks and Digital Signal Processing (CSNDSP), during the session dedicated to UAV Communications: Energy Efficiency, Resource management and Security.
The paper concerns ad hoc mobility and network modelling for drone swarms, and is closely related to RAINBOW’s third use-case “Power Line Surveillance via Swarm of Drones”; it analyses and compares routing protocols, whilst aiming to correlate channel link state awareness with quality of service in different mobility scenarios.
